MEDINAH, Ill. - Hale Irwin pulled off his second dramatic comeback in two days Monday to win his third U.S. Open golf championship.
Irwin, 45, became the oldest player to win the U.S. Open when he sank an 8-foot birdie putt on the first sudden death hole to defeat Mike Donald.
